Values & Beliefs:

 

My earlier career was spent in the Army where I learned the value of teamwork, self-discipline and getting the best out of your people as a leader, is a privilege, as they entrust their wellbeing and loyalty to you. You have to earn their respect. I was fortunate to adapt and apply these principles in business and built successful teams and businesses, always recognising that it was not about me but about engaging and motivating my staff to enjoy and believe in what they are doing, as well as being straightforward and open with them so they could trust me.

 

With a life-long active interest in team sports I recognise the responsibility of each individual, their unit capabilities and the overall team performance all have to be in alignment and harmony to achieve success. On a personal note I have been blessed with a large family and watching them grow and develop into responsible young citizens making their own way in life has been the most important thing in my life. When working with my clients I believe in them and give of myself freely in a sharing and thoughtful way as well as maintaining complete confidentiality.

 

Executive Coaching:

 

Antony is a Qualified Executive Coach who has extensive experience of coaching executives and managers through a variety of situations. He has a pragmatic approach based on extensive line management experience and proven leadership skills, providing real insight, as well as a methodology and approach which will challenge the executive to address their concerns, identify what needs to change and embed the new behaviours which are sustainable even under the most exacting conditions.​



Career Coaching:



Antony has 21 years’ experience in the Outplacement and Career Transition sector encompassing the roles of Career Coaching and Line Management as well as starting a successful top end City Outplacement business, catering for Senior Bankers, Fund Managers and Lawyers. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to coach individuals through the uncertainties of change, identifying the

various career options backed up with a sustainable marketing campaign.

​Business Mentoring:



Antony has done two Startups and one Management Buy Out. The first start up "Antony Dunlop Ltd" he  risked his own capital and the business was built from scratch building a high quality brand in Business Services achieving real market value and sold to a small PLC. The brand continued to trade successfully retaining its identity through a number of mergers.



The second start up "BG Careers" was backed with £0.5 million Capital from a Private Investor. The business grew rapidly again achieving market value and was sold to a PLC.
 

The Management Buy Out was a consequence of the sale achieving the backing of Private Equity to the value of £4.5 million.
